Meeting the imaging demands of the northern suburbs
We've just taken delivery of a new state-of-the-art ultra wide-bore MRI scanner, a full field digital mammography unit and a CT scanner with dose reduction software at our Park Terrace Branch.
The non-Medicare eligible MRI scanner, together with the new digital mammography and CT units will provide optimum image quality and breadth of studies previously not available in a private practice in the northern suburbs.
MRI examinations for patients will be quicker and more comfortable. The roominess of our 70cm scanner, together with a bed limit of 250kg allows for scanning of patients of all sizes and reduce anxiety and claustrophobia. GP referrals are accepted.
Also, our full field digital mammography unit provides ultra low dose breast imaging with reduced processing times and maximum patient comfort.
In addition to these exciting developments, our Salisbury branch also now has new:
- Nuclear medicine with SPECT CT scanner
- Digital low dose x-ray room
- Larger and improved reception and patient waiting rooms
